The course involves an interview to select the most appropriate qualification units for you, and to determine that the units and qualification level are achievable. The candidate will be visited in their workplace to be observed performing the criteria laid down in the chosen units. Underpinning knowledge questions for these units needs to be answered, satisfactorily completed and recorded. The applicant should be competent in the chosen units, and will be tutored to fulfil the requirements of the observation and underpinning knowledge assessments. This course is assessed in the workplace. It involves continuous improvement activities that lead to a more efficient working environment.Once you have enrolled onto the programme you will be assigned an assessor that will visit you in the workplace regularly. They will complete assessment plans and reviews with you to keep you on target. They will support you in the collection of the required evidence needed for your qualification through different assessment methods such as; professional discussion, observations, written questions, verbal questions, witness statements and any assignments.
