It provides you with an excellent opportunity to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of horse care and riding through both practical and theory-based sessions. The course includes valuable work experience which will enable you to develop reliable practical skills in the equine industry and on the college equine yard. All full-time students participate in yard duties throughout the year alongside their main programme of study. A rota is put in place and will include some weekends.
