Candidates of the Technical Certificate must therefore progress to ACS assessment, including gaining the required experience under supervision of a CORGI registered operative, if they wish to pursue CORGI registration which will enable them legally to undertake gas work.

There is a formal requirement from CORGI that all operatives gain suitable experience working with, for or alongside a CORGI registered operatives (usually min. 6 - 9 months) prior to undertaking ACS assessments.
