English Maths Study Skills and ICT Physics Biology ChemistryGCSE Maths and English or equivalent are essential, as they are required by most universities GCSE Science or another science qualification preferred All applicants must attend a briefing session to complete English and Maths assessments and to find out more about the Access programme. Following assessment, you will be invited for a detailed interview with the course tutorStudy a whole range of Science and Maths based courses at University. Previous Access to Science students have gone on to degrees as varied as engineering, biological/biomedical sciences, radiography, maths and even product design.Access to Science provides the underpinning knowledge and skills needed to progress to an undergraduate course in a science-related field. Due to the intensive nature of Access courses, students are advised that a level of science knowledge equivalent to GCSE is strongly recommended. As well as covering all aspects of Science - physics, biology, chemistry and maths, there is a strong focus on developing the necessary skills for university.
