Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Childcare

This Apprenticeship is ideal for anyone who wants to develop a rewarding career in child care. The Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship is a national work-based training programme and is a great way of earning and learning at the same time. The Apprenticeship is suitable for those who work on their own initiative, planning and organising their own work and/or supervising others, for example, a nursery nurse, playgroup leader or a child-minder working in their own home.
You will achieve the Level 3 Diploma Children & Young People's Workforce; Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT; Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care or Children & Young People's Settings (Level 2). Upon completion of all of these elements you will also receive the Apprenticeship Framework Certificate.
You will learn through a mix of work-related activities and independent study and research. Assessment is on a continuous basis with a number of assessments in each module. Assessments take a variety of forms, such as written reports, witness statements, observations and professional discussions.
