Graphic Products
This course is ideal for students who like to be creative. It allows you to find out why products are made the way they are. You get the opportunity to investigate the various ways products are made and what materials they are made from. You also get the chance to design your own product and make it from start to finish, including all the aesthetics of a model and a separate visual graphic.
D&T Graphic Products forms a sound basis for those of you who are considering a career in product design, interior design, advertising, architecture or 3-D computer modelling.

What qualifications do I need to study on the course?
At least five GCSE grades C or equivalent. Ideally you will have studied one of the various D&T options at High School but there are opportunities to start-a-fresh if you are keen to excel.

40% exam 60% Coursework

What will I be able to progress to?
There are a great number of options available when you leave ASFC - you could choose to study almost any creative degree course (such as industrial design, or advertising and marketing) or a technical based degree such as architecture. There are also a wide range of apprenticeships available to you.
