This NVQ Assessor’s course is designed for individuals who need to assess competence within the workplace or classroom.

Level 3: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF) course is suitable for people who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding other than in the work environment (e.g. a workshop, classroom or other training environment). You will gain the knowledge and skills you need to plan assessments, select the best assessment methods for the situation, carry out the assessments and after making the assessment decision, give feedback to the learner, make a firm contribution to quality assurance and keep and complete accurate assessment records. This NVQ Assessor's course is designed for individuals who need to assess competence within the workplace or classroom.
Level 3: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF/RQF) qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the classroom or work environment. This course is suited to individuals that support learners through assessment & training. This level 3 certificate is suitable for industry sectors such as Hairdressing, Beauty Industry & Make Up, Construction, Early years, Health & Social Care and Educational Sectors. On successful achievement of the course, candidates are awarded a nationally accredited qualification enabling them to carry out assessments in the workplace & assessments for vocational programmes in colleges and schools.
There are no formal requirements for this course, however, candidates should be working in, or working towards a role in quality assurance. The theory based qualifications provide a good base for those candidates who are trying to enter into quality assurance roles. To undertake the full award candidates are required to have access to the learners.
