Level 3: Assessor Competence Course is for them who assess the demonstration of competence in a work environment using observation, examining work products is a 9 QCF Credits know as A1 Assessor course. Level 3 Assessing Competence in the Work Environment is for practitioners who assess the demonstration of competence in a work environment using the following assessment methods: observation/examining work products/oral questioning and discussion/use of witnesses/learner statements/Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

About this course

If you are planning of becoming a qualified assessor, this is the correct qualification.

This TAQA qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the classroom or work environment. This course is suited to individuals that support learners through assessment & training. This qualification is suitable for industry sectors such as Hairdressing, Beauty Industry & Make Up, Construction, Network Rail, Oil and Gas Industry, Early years, Health & Social Care and Educational Sectors. On successful achievement of the course, candidates are awarded a nationally accredited qualification enabling them to carry out assessments in the workplace & assessments for vocational programmes in colleges and schools.

Entry requirement for this course are the basic functional skills such as numeracy, literacy and ICT.
