This TAQA qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the classroom or work environment. This course is suited to individuals that support learners through assessment & training. This qualification is suitable for industry sectors such as Hairdressing, Beauty Industry & Make Up, Construction, Electrical industry, Food Safety, Early years, Apprenticeships, NHS Training, Health & Social Care and Educational Sectors. On successful achievement of the course, candidates are awarded a nationally accredited qualification enabling them to carry out assessments in the workplace & assessments for vocational programmes in colleges and schools.

About the course: Really enjoyed every bit of the training duration. I mean there was no boring or awkward moment, every minute spent was full of knowledge and laughter from the trainer. Very happy to completed Level 3 assessor course with them. Honestly I can't fault the lecture and I will definitely recommend and will give a 100%.

About the course: I really enjoyed my training from russbridge academy. Cam Bains was excellent and made the sessions both enjoyable and engaging. Course programme

This assessor qualification is intended for people who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment (for example a classroom, workshop, or any training environment). It includes the following assessment methods: Assessments of the learner in simulated environments, Skills tests, oral and written questions, assignments, projects, case studies and recognizing prior learning. This Vocational level consists of the following 2 Unit:

  • Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment D/601/5313
  • Unit 3: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding F/601/5319

Please note: Unit 1 will give you comprehensive understanding of assessment however if you wish to achieve full Assessor qualification (Assessor status) you need to do unit 1 and Unit 2 or Unit 3.

You don’t have to do all 3 units to achieve the full qualification, selecting the unit will be depend on the nature of the job you do (Current profession) for example: If you work as a practitioner like assess the demonstration of competence in a work environment then you need to do competence level Unit 1 and Unit 2.

Course Assessment:

There is no formal examination is required, but at the end of the course you need to submit a portfolio via email or by post to our head office. You will also be required to provide supporting evidence.
