On successful completion delegates will be able to: Define hazards & risks Describe the legal requirements for risk assessments Describe methods of basic trend & epidemiological analysis Describe statutory requirements for reporting and procedures for checking for non-reporting Describe work place precaution hierarchies Distinguish specific hazards Outline the main provisions of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999. Successful candidates will be awarded an IOSH certificate in Managing Safely, which is valid for three years. Suitable for: This course is for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It is deseigned to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams. The flexible programme covers all the main health and safety issues and includes a session on environmental issues as well.
