This is most suitable for those therapist who would be more interested in a salon setting, rather than a Spa environment. You should have a creative flair with an interest in make-up design and application suitable in a commercial setting. Nail art and enhancements as a nail technician and eye lash tinting and extensions. This course delivers a non-invasive aspect to Beauty Therapy employment.

About this course

Those with a passion for working in the commercial Make-up artistry and/or as a nail technician or salon who want to pursue a career into this exciting industry.

Sucessful completion of industry related qualification (in hair/make-up/beauty) and a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C) or a Level 2 Functional Skill in English and Maths.

If you do not posess industry related qualifications, then we would recommend studying our L2 Hair Media Make up study program before embarking on this Level three program. This is due to the huge amount of advanced technical skills and knowledge required.

VTCT

Employment in related industry, freelance or counter make-up artist, Nail or Lash Technician in a commercial setting or progression to higher education to the Higher National Diploma (HND).
