About this course
This qualification will help you prepare for the Care certificate which is a mandatory training requirement for anyone starting work within the Health and Social Care Sector

Course programme
This qualification is designed for those learners who are working in or aspire to work in senior roles in adult care in England. It is not part of an Apprenticeship Standard.
Learners gaining this qualification will be introduced to core knowledge only in the following areas; communication, equality, diversity and inclusion, personal development, the role of the social care worker, handling information, health and safety, safeguarding, duty of care and person centred approaches in adult care.
