Who is the course for?
Students who have a C in GCSE Mathematics at Higher level, or those who have a B but feel they may need some extra support in Maths or the Sciences.

Content outline
The course covers the majority of the material in the Higher level GCSE Mathematics syllabus but is specifically designed to develop the skills and understanding of Mathematics required for further study beyond GCSE.

The course lasts for a year and comprises of two 1-hour lessons a week.

The course is designed to support students doing AS Mathematics and the Sciences.

Method of assessment
The assessment is by multiple-choice examination, available in January and June.
