The VTCT Level 3 Award in Lash Extensions (QCF) is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in; how to apply individual permanent lashes.

A two day programme of study which will equip you with the essential skills to carry out lash extension treatments. An additional1-2 further sessions for assessments & portfolio presentation will be required. Home study and practise is essential to complete the required units and perfect skills learnt during the day.

About this course

Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment, and how to promote client care and communication in beauty related industries. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification.

The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in beauty therapy to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services.

Lash extension kit will be required, this can be purchased through the centre.

Course programme

This training course consists of three components: -
  • Apply individual permenant lashes
  • Client care and communications in beauty related industries
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
Online/written assessment with a pass mark of 70% and practical observations at a competent standard are necessary to complete this qualification.
