BTEC National Award - Two-year course
This is a two-year programme that can be taken in place of one A Level. Students must commit to this course for two years in order to achieve a qualification.

Only one Award per A Level programme can be taken.

The BTEC National Award is the equivalent of one A Level. It consists of six modular units studied over the two years and would be taken as part of an A Level programme which can also include A Level Dance.

The focus of this course will be practical, however, excellent organisational skills will be required in order to complete the necessary written assignments. There will be regular opportunities to see live performances and events at a number of exciting London venues.

Careers and Further Studies
This course can lead to further study of Dance or Performing Arts at accredited vocational colleges or university. Career choices include working as a performer, choreographer or teacher.

General Entry Requirements
These qualifications will normally be taken as part of an A Level programme. Students may only take one BTEC National Award in place of one A Level.
