Course programme

  • All the theory is covered in 1 day
  • On the afternoon of that day you will also carry out a simple assessment exercise with your fellow trainees. You will also receive clear guidance on how to complete your Portfolio.
  • After the Training Day you will complete your Portfolio which includes carrying out 4 assessments (2 each on two different 'Learners'):
  • The Learners only need to be competent at the work you are assessing them in - they don't need to be taking an NVQ.
  • Each assessment can be done on any single Unit of an NVQ or other national qualification - usually takes about 45 mins.
  • You will receive your certificate about 3 weeks after submitting a completed Portfolio.
