Who the Course is For:
This course offers students the opportunity to develop the practical skills and knowledge essential for those who wish to commence employment in motorcycle service centres. The course is specifically designed for those who aim to become motorcycle service mechanics. This provides for easy progression to day release programmes when students secure employment in the industry, or onto the Institute of Motor Industry Certificate in Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair - Level 2 - Full Time.
Assessment:
Assessment is in form of on-line multiple-choice questions set externally by the Institute of the Motor Industry and in order to assess the students ability to perform practical tasks to industry standards, simulated workshop activities
Course Leads To:
A career in the motorcycle service trade. Progression to the course Institute of the Motor Industry - Certificate in Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair - Level 2, motorcycle service and repair technicians. Progression to the IMI Level 2 Apprenticeship.
