Whether you’re a film enthusiast, fine art sculptor or an aspiring SFX artist, this one-day workshop will lay the foundations from which you’ll learn to make your very own life cast sculpture directly from the human form.
The workshop will also include a live demonstration of the mould making and casting process involved in replicating an area of a torso from a male model.

About this course
By the end of the workshop you’ll have a good working understand of the basic materials and processes most commonly used within contemporary life-cast sculpture projects.
You will leave with a cast of your own hand and, more importantly, the appropriate technical knowledge and skills that will enable you to go on creating more of your own sculptures in a safe and fun way.
This workshop is a valuable opportunity for aspiring designers interested in creative and fine art practices, and would prove useful to those teaching or studying these subjects in search of inspiration and wanting to expand their skills.
