Course Overview
This course is learner centred, offering a unique approach to â€-tailored Lifeskills'. training and â€-individual learning'. Provision is offered at different levels, each level taken over a 1 year period. The learner can progress onto the next level of learning for a period of up to 3 years.

Course Structure
The learner completes a â€-Learning Passport', a booklet that helps to establish their future goals with a plan of the skills required to reach these goals. These skills will become Individual Learning Plan (ILP) targets, which are identified in all programme areas.

ILPs are an assessment tool, which maintain current skills, while supporting the need to establish and develop new skills

(Functional Basic Skills are taught within all subjects)

Qualification Aims
With good attendance and application learners will achieve a certificate at Entry 1 3.

Assessments/Examinations
Continuous assessments and review throughout the course.

Cost / Equipment
Tuition is free to learners who are under 25 years at the start of the course. Learners who are in receipt of income support are requested to provide this evidence. There will be costs for accreditation/certification.

If college transport is provided to attend college, families are expected to pay a proportion of the travel costs.
