Course programme

Using video cameras and players, CD players and mixing suites, teams fall back on their creativity to produce a quality product that they are proud to take away.
By the end of this event, you will:
  • Appreciate different styles of team working and the relative strengths of each approach
  • Gain a greater understanding of your preferred style of working and the impact you have on other team members
  • Develop ideas and plans for helping the team to achieve its full potential
  • Be able to analyse how your communication styles are helping or hindering your ability to work as a team
  • Know how you manage conflict and change under pressure
  • Create personal learning plans for improving yourself and your team
The event provides a rare opportunity for teams to engage in a full cycle closed project from defining customer and project requirements, planning within very tight timescales to achieve immovable deadlines, negotiating for resources, managing sub-contractors and fully contributing to the final deliverable.

How well do they cope with moving goalposts? What communication processes do they put in place when they delegate tasks? What are their review processes like? How well do they plan, and what is the effect on them when it needs to be changed?

As ever, our devious facilitators will inject the necessary spanners when necessary to ensure that the pressure keeps up and that the adrenalin keeps pumping!

Learning is drawn out by the observer/facilitators and through regular reviews within each team.
