consequences for a breach of these rules. This course will guide you through the rules with practical and easy to understand exercises. Failure to meet certain requirements can have serious consequences, including problems of admissibility and, ultimately, striking out.

Programme includes
This course will explain the changes made by the Civil Procedure Rules to the drafting of Statements of Case, enable you to improve your drafting skills, and show you how to work – within the Rules and Practice Directions. By the end of this course you will have improved your ability to draft:

  • Defences
  • Case Summaries
