Higher Court Advocates' Introductory

The training day is for those wishing to develop their advocacy skills.

Following the London training day in February, the Law Society is organising additional training days in Newcastle, Manchester and Newcastle in June and July.

Breakout sessions will cover topics such as:

• Criminal evidence: how to make and oppose hearsay applications
• Civil advocacy: drafting and using skeleton arguments
• Sentencing: mitigation skills for the Crown Court
• Civil Court Practice
