Course programme
Since this programme leads to a qualifying law degree, students take nine obligatory modules: English Legal System, Legal Method, Public Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, European Union Law, Tort Law, Land Law, and Equity and Trusts. In addition, you also pick from a range of exciting International Relations options.

The LLB Law with International Relations will sharpen your ability not only to interpret and contextualise international events but also to talk and write convincingly about them in different professional settings, whether those events occur in the realm of peace and security, trade, or development. Such skills prepare you for a variety of possible career tracks in organisations such as the United Nations, the European Union, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the International Labour Organization, the World Trade Organization, and many other emerging international and regional organisations.
Year One: Public Law; Contract Law; English Legal System; Legal Method
Year Two: Criminal Law; Tort; European Union Law; Theories of International Relations
Year Three: Land Law; Equity and Trusts; plus two optional modules chosen from a list including Public International Law; Globalism, Geopolitics; and Humanitarianism and Human Rights. Advanced Mooting and Advocacy and Strategic Lawyering are two further optional modules limited to 16 students selected by the programme team.
