LLDD College Path: New Dimensions E2

Who is this course for?

New Dimensions is aimed at learners from 16 to 19 years of age who are from mainstream schools and who are generally on the Autistic Spectrum.

What qualifications or experience do I need ?

Prospective candidates need to be working at Entry Level 1-2 at basic skills including literacy, numeracy, ICT and communication. Candidates are individually assessed for their suitability against these criteria, the expected course content and qualification offer.

What will I study ?

New Dimensions focuses on social relationships, communication and interaction with peers and people in society. It has cookery, sport, ICT and Literacy and numeracy within its curriculum.

How will I be assessed ?

Interview, pre-view week, initial diagnostic assessment. All students work towards their own learning goals & ILPs to progress and achieve which is recorded and celebrated through the Edexcel Certificate.

What qualifications could I achieve ?

Edexcel Certificate in Skills for Independence and Work E2
