To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of Lorry Mounted and Mobile Cranes. Where required, to provide specific job training in both related job safety knowledge and practical skill applications for these types of machines. At the course end successful delegates should be able to operate their machines both safely and efficiently.

Course Summary
Learn how to safely and efficiently operate a lorry mounted/mobile crane.
On completion of the course you will be familiar with the need to train and the statutory requirements. During the course you will learn about the principle components and mobile crane terminology, engineering principles of stability and capacities, lifting gear - slinging and signaling procedures. Also pre-shift checks, safe load indicators, use of outriggers, rough terrain, jib lengths, reeving and altering line pull, traveling on public highways and much more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.
