About this course
The operative should possess as a minimum
CMA1 (METER INSTALLER CORE GAS SAFETY ASSESSMENT NG.)
MET2 (DOMESTIC METERS up to & including U 6 size)and
REGT1 (DOMESTIC GAS MEDIUM PRESSURE REGULATORS & CONTROLS).
A knowledge of basic electrical principles would be an advantage but is not essential.

A need has been identified, which is not currently served, to provide a course and assessment aimed at providing the knowledge and skills for those who carry out repositioning, alteration or extension to the Main Equipotential Bonding when moving domestic gas meters.
This is to be measured by both written and practical task assessment.
Pre-requisites to training & assessment: The operative should possess as a minimum
CMA1 (METER INSTALLER CORE GAS SAFETY ASSESSMENT NG.)
MET2 (DOMESTIC METERS up to & including U 6 size) and
REGT1 (DOMESTIC GAS MEDIUM PRESSURE REGULATORS & CONTROLS).
