This programme give a much greater understanding of incident management control and command.

The Major Incident Medical Management & Support (MIMMS) course is developed in conjunction with and approved by the Advanced Life Support Group (approval code MIDL) and offers learners the knowledge and skills to initially manage a major incident. It is specifically designed for medical personnel who may need to manage any major emergency from ambulance personnel, nurses, medical centres, offshore medics, MOD medics and volunteer services.

This approved course from the ALSG attracts CPD points for registered professionals including doctors.

The PEWC element of the course is completed at Middlesbrough Football Stadium to give learners a real in-sight into managing a large scale major incident.
