Learning to reduce stress, to see things differently is a skill that can take a lifetime to learn. We'll aim to give you a practical step by step guide to understanding your root causes of stress and then help you develop improved coping mechanisms, life strategies and world views. This course is about discussing what stresses you the most and examining the ways that some people address this in a highly effective manner. Using NLP and Life Coaching skills, we can significantly improve your ability to deal with stress by examining how you 'process' it.
Prerequisites
You will be able to apply these skills in your role as a manager, leader, delegator, team member, company director, sales person or indeed whatever discipline you work in or aspect you choose to apply these skills and techniques.
Course Content Topics and Areas
- We will address the real world issues of stress in the workplace, stressful living and dealing with stressful environments
- We will see examples of how others have coped well with stress and even learnt to thrive on it
- The course will cover NLP methods for self and for teams, coaching techniques around 'world views' 'labelling' and 'personality types'. You will receive one to one feedback from a highly experienced tutor
- You will identify throughout the day a 'hit list' of actions you can take - delegation, work life balancing, career review - whatever is right for you - and develop initial steps towards resolution or reduction of the impact of stress
- At the end of the day you will be ready to review the stress-generators in your working life and have a strategy to tackle them
- The course does not attempt to deal with the medical condition of stress or provide clinical therapy for such problems, these should be dealt with via your GP.
