How will I learn?

Teaching is delivered via lectures and seminars. Lectures will be in larger groups of up to 450 in your first year, and seminars (also known as tutorials) are taught in smaller groups of around 20-25. As you progress to your second and final years you will find that some of the lectures are smaller as you all follow different optional modules.

You will have around 15 hours of lecture and seminar contact time with WBS academics and will be expected to complete around 20 hours of private study per week. This may include preparing for seminars and lectures by reading set texts, working through problem sets, participating in group work, writing essays and reports, and revising for tests and examinations.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through a combination of end of year examinations and on-going assessments, which may include essays, research assignments, projects, case study analysis, class tests, presentations and group work.
