Objectives

To show how to select, manage and assess contractors and to implement contractor control strategies.

Description

This course is for those health and safety and non-safety personnel who are responsible for managing contractors.

It will cover: Civil Liability, Health & Safety at Work Act, Safe Systems and permits, contractor control and policy implementation. It aims to establish the legal position of the contractor and the liability relationship between the contractor and the client.
