Health and Safety including COSHH, RIDDOR risk assessments
Fire Safety
Infection Control
Manual handling refresher, including legislation, spinal anatomy, ergonomics, bio-mechanics, unsafe practices and small handling aids and information on principles of hoist training
Handling violence and aggression and the lone worker
Caldicott Protocols (Data Protection Act 1998)
Handling complaints
Basic Life Support (BLS): adult and paediatric (UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines)
Mental Health Acts 1983 and 2007
POVA and the Protection of Children Act 1999
