This new and innovative programme aims to develop nurses who can provide outstanding care across a range of practice settings while meeting all of the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Year 1
The following 30-credit modules are required for this course:
- Applied Human biology
- Nurses in Society
- Family Centred Care
- Knowledge and Skills for Adult Nursing
The following module must be passed for this course:
- Pan London Practice Assessment Document (PLPAD)
There are no optional modules for this course in Year 1.

During this year, your modules will become increasingly clinically focused in your area of practice. You will also choose an additional optional module. Practice placements will allow you to apply the knowledge gained through study in a variety of clinical settings. There is an opportunity for international elective placement during the programme.
