GCSE Mathematics is a qualification that is demanded by many courses and careers. It is offered to full time and part time students, at both the Foundation and Higher Tiers, provided they meet the entry requirements. The Foundation Tier allows the award of grades G to C whereas the Higher Tier allows the award of grades D to A*. The Higher Tier is suitable only for the more mathematically able.

Course programme
GCSE Mathematics is a qualification that is demanded by many courses and careers. It is offered to full time and part time students, at both the Foundation and Higher Tiers, provided they meet the entry requirements. The Foundation Tier allows the award of grades G to C whereas the Higher Tier allows the award of grades D to A*.
The Higher Tier is suitable only for the more mathematically able students and the class runs on a Monday evening from 6pm to 9pm at Paget Road Campus.

How will I be assessed?
This assessment consists of
Two written papers, a calculator paper and a non calculator paper. Each paper is worth 50% of the total marks and is 1 hour and 45 mins long.

AS Level Maths for students who have achieved at least a grade C.
