Mechanical Engineering BEng with Integrated Foundation Year (Dubai)

All modules listed are compulsory.

Designed for international students who require a preparatory year prior to undergraduate study, the BEng Mechanical Engineering foundation course is equivalent in learning to year 13 of the UK education system.

Successful completion of the initial integrated foundation course will also guarantee you progression onto the Mechanical Engineering (Hons) programme. *You will need at at least 100 credits, at least 55% in Academic English and Study Skills and at least 60% in Introductory Mathematics and in Further Mathematics.

In the final year these fundamentals of engineering are used to explore advanced engineering topic areas, with a more problem solving based focus, within the context of a broadly based programme of study. In your final year you undertake a major individual project linked to your chosen field of specialisation. You will also undertake a group design study project exploring the associated commercial, legal and safety aspects of developing a new product.
