Foundation yearDesigned for international students who require a preparatory year prior to undergraduate study, the BEng Mechanical Engineering foundation course is equivalent in learning to year 13 of the UK education system.
Successful completion of the initial integrated foundation course will also guarantee you progression onto the Mechanical Engineering (Hons) programme. *You will need at at least 100 credits, at least 55% in Academic English and Study Skills and at least 60% in Introductory Mathematics and in Further Mathematics.
We will ensure you're fully prepared for your undergraduate programme, immersing you in the university environment and giving you dedicated support in your first year in Dubai.

You will also undertake a group design study project exploring the associated commercial, legal and safety aspects of developing a new product.
