This is the first stage of a modern apprenticeship where you will learn mechanical engineering theory, Machining, Bench Fitting, Health & Safety and practical skills/knowledge over a 2 year period You will have to be employed and working in a machining/fitting/manufacturing engineering environment

Entry RequirementsYou should ideally have 3 GCSE grades of at least C or above, including ICT, English and Mathematics or Functional Skills Entry is also subject to an initial assessment carried out at the College
