The course has been designed for careers in areas such as the automotive and aerospace industries, and high-value manufacturing. Suitable positions are available across a wide range of companies, or you could go on to postgraduate study or start a business of your own.

Qualifications: three A-levels / Extended Diploma/combination of A-level and Diploma / A-levels and Extended Certificate

Subjects:

A-level: 16 Points from mathematics, a physical science or a numerate subject. General Studies/Level 3 Key Skills not accepted.
BTEC National: Extended Diploma in Engineering (required: Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems (Unit 7) and Further Engineering Mathematics (Unit 8), one at Merit) or related subject.
