This level of qualification is essential for people starting out in a career in engineering and advanced manufacturing and can be undertaken within an Intermediate or Advanced Apprenticeship.

Entry requirements
You will need to be working in a production engineering environment and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard. Also, you should ideally hold a level 2 qualification in mechanical manufacturing operations.
