Media - Advanced - Creative and Media Diploma
You will learn the processes and specialised knowledge that are common to all creative industries while you develop your English, maths and ICT skills. This broad mix of experience, knowledge and understanding will equip you with the necessary specialist skills to progress to higher education or get a job.

What will I study?You will need to study a total of six compulsory units and some optional units.
The disciplines are:
· Film.
· Television
· Audio and radio.
· Creative writing.
· Graphic design.
In addition, you can deepen your knowledge by taking a more specialist course in video production, editing or scriptwriting; you could choose a LAMDA certificate to help you with voice projection or a certificate in radio production.
This course has a minimum requirement of 10 days' work experience. This will give you the chance to develop and apply the skills you have learned in the classroom. You will also get the chance to learn, and be mentored by, professionals working in their chosen field.

How is the course assessed?Assessment is ongoing throughout your course. You will also complete a project (of your choice) to demonstrate the skills and knowledge you have acquired.
