Entry requirements:
You must be aged 16 or over and hold a valid certificate under the STCW convention and must have served at least six months at Sea in a merchant ship.

Qualifications achieved:
STCW 95 First Aid at Sea/Proficiency in Medical First Aid

Progression opportunities:
The qualification is a pre-requisite for the issue of the first Certificate of Competency and is also required for progression for Medical Care Onboard.
