Effective Meetings Skills are crucial to success in virtually every type of human endeavour, whether in Voluntary, Public or Private Sector, and throughout the average management career, a staggering minimum of 80% of our time is spent either preparing for or taking part in meetings of one kind or another. So to make the most of this essential skill it is perhaps wise to optimise performance in this area.
This course will show participants how to use meetings effectively, how to prepare for various types of meeting, how to attend and how to chair a meeting. Further, the course will explain how to gain commitment and overcome resistance and how to handle difficult people at meetings.
By attending this course, participants will be able to:- Prepare for meetings and briefings by means of systematic planning
