      Description

      The MEng Computing with a Year in Industry at Swansea University is a five-year degree leading to a Masters qualification. This degree is ideally suited to those students committed to a career in the software development industry.

      As an MEng Computing with a Year in Industry student, you will have the opportunity to learn about computer graphics, modelling computer systems, database systems, and algorithms in addition to software engineering modules. Subject to application, you can take your placement year either in year 3 or year 4 of your studies. During the 2nd year you will receive support from our placements team to help you prepare and secure a paid sector relevant industrial placement.

      During the final year of your studies you will develop skills in software development, team working, planning, specification, design and risk analysis to a high level.
