2. Course description If you are a trade union representative or member who has already completed the 3-day Mental Health Awareness short course, but wish to develop your knowledge further, then this is the course for you. Complete the Level 2 Mental Health Certificate and you'll expand your understanding of mental health issues in the workplace. You'll learn how to deal with any such issues when they arise, and focus on promoting workplace wellbeing for every employee. As well as developing a theoretical awareness of relevant legislation and employer policies, you'll also be learning the skills needed to act on behalf of any worker who may experience mental health issues. You'll complete some practical work to put these skills to the test and prepare you for real-life situations.
