Course programme
Increasing numbers of patients with injuries are accessing primary care services. This 4 day programme equips students with the key skills to assess a range of minor injuries safely. Students will be taught using a systematic approach, with the skills being suitable for the minor injuries, walk in centre or primary care setting. A combination of interactive lectures, workshops and skills practice are delivered by an experienced nurse practitioner, using a common sense view backed by best evidence.
