Treatment of an unconscious casualty. Resuscitation. Shock. Choking. Seizures. Bleeding. Common workplace injuries. Suitable for: This first aid course is suitable for organisations where a qualified first aider is not required, but where there must be an 'appointed person' to satisfy the needs of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. It is also appropriate for people who wish to gain an understanding of First Aid emergency Procedures.

About this course
After completing the days training and upon receiving the trainers approval the candidate will receive a HSE recognised certificate valid for three years.
Upon successful completion of this course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practice for three years after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. It is strongly recommended that you update your skills by taking an annual refresher.
