This course can be studied full-time as a one year course, or part-time over three years. Analytical Science supports research and development in key industries and underpins many aspects of biological and clinical sciences, environmental sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, materials science and synthetic chemistry. This course offers expertise from international experts within academia and collaborating companies like Syngenta, AstraZeneca and Pfizer.

About this course

You’ll be trained in experimental and theoretical/ computational approaches to creatively solve real-world problems. We place strong emphasis on collaborative research with our industrial partners and academic disciplines, and you’ll take two 10-week mini projects in two different research teams as part of this course. As such, this course will ideally prepare you for a research career in Analytical Science, or to take up further studies with a PhD.
