You'll learn: health & safety in the motor sport engineering industry; teamwork; engine technology; chassis technology; vehicle electrical and electronic systems; track skills; and vehicle mathematics & science You will also learn functional skills

You'll put together a portfolio of work, and will carry out tests (including online tests)

This can lead to a Level 2 qualification The skills you'll learn are transferable across a range of Engineering-based courses You can discuss these options with your tutor

Entry Requirements

You'll need: four GCSEs at grades D or E (including Maths and English), or a Level 1 qualification (or above) in the functional skills diagnostic 'Number, Communication & ICT' test You will also need a satisfactory report from school or previous learning institution Entry onto the course is subject to an interview

Work Experience

You will be expected to do some motor sport-based work experience (including weekend working at race circuits)
