Course programme
Introduction
Manual handling of loads is one of the largest causes of over three day accidents. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR) (as amended by the Health and Safety (Miscellaneous Amendment) Regulations 2002) recognised this and compliance with the requirements and the guidance issued by the HSE has helped to reduce the number of these incidents.
