Course programme
In this course, you will complete three modules to the value of 20 credits each. These will be combined with the modules you completed for your PGCert and PGDip Health Economics for Health Care Professionals to make the 180 credits you need to obtain the Masters qualification.

You'll study three 20 credit modules.
- Assessing the Impact of Medical Technologies on Health (20 credits)
- Further Methods for Outcome Measurement (20 credits)
- Decision Analysis for Health Technology Assessment (20 credits)
Teaching format
Each module will be delivered through narrated slides, and you will also have access to a workbook containing references to additional reading and exercises. Some modules will also be supplemented with a textbook containing core material. Your teaching will be supported using the University's virtual learning environment, Yorkshare. You'll have access to:
- discussion boards monitored by a tutor
- an assessed work submission facility
- a private messaging service for contacting your tutor, administrative staff and fellow students
