Quality assured awards (QAA) allows specific subject areas to be taught and certified by the Institute of the Motor Industry Awards Ltd, helping technicians maintain a level of continuing professional development.
Most technicians have a multimeter tucked away in the back of their toolbox but would rather rely on a test lamp or guesswork to repair electrical faults; this can be costly and dangerous. Even when a multimeter is used, interpretation of the results and use of other functions is limited. Multimeter use need not be difficult and can reduce time, costs and frustration.
An IMIAL (Institute of Motor Industry Awards Ltd) quality assured award (QAA) in the recognition of multimeter use.
Candidates will be subject assessed on the day of the programme and successful candidates will be notified on the day.
