What will you be learning?
This course will give students a recognised qualification in hospitality skills and provide them with opportunities for self-development.

Students will study the following compulsory units: Maintain a safe, hygienic and secure working environment; give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation and 7 optional units chosen from the following areas: Reception; housekeeping; front office; food and drink service; food preparation and cooking.

Assessment is by observation of competence, coursework and portfolio.

What happens when you have finished?
You can progress onto a NVQ 3 or and Advanced Apprenticeship in a related subject area.
